Miguel Martinez-Boada is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Currently serving as the Head of the GFG Real Estate Asset Management Office based in Miami, Miguel is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensuring excellent client and owner relations.
Throughout his remarkable career, Miguel has held various leadership positions at top-tier hospitality industry companies, including Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and SBE Entertainment. His extensive expertise includes serving as SVP of Global Revenue Strategy, VP of Revenue Management Operations, and Senior Director of Revenue and Distribution Strategy, as well as holding several operational roles such as Hotel Manager, Rooms Director, and Front Office Manager.
In his global and regional leadership roles, Miguel has expertly managed a portfolio of over 250 select service, upscale, luxury, and all-inclusive resorts and hotels, with 35 brands across 37 countries spanning Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
In addition to his extensive professional experience, Miguel holds an AD in Electronics from La Salle in Venezuela and has achieved Revenue Management, Marketing, and Hospitality certifications from the renowned Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, New York. Miguel’s passion for the industry and commitment to excellence make him a true asset to any organization.
