Victor Garcia is the Controller/Auditor at GFG Real Estate Asset Management, LLC.
Victor is responsible for overseeing financial information for hotels, improving controls and procedures, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, conducting audit reviews, and managing relationships with insurance companies. Victor has been working in the hospitality industry since 1988 and has a wealth of experience in financial management.
Before joining GFG Real Estate Asset Management, LLC in 2021, Victor worked as Director of Finance at the Complex Hotel Doubletree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Santa Fe Mexico City, DOF at Hilton Villahermosa and Conference center, and DOF Cluster at Queretaro for Doubletree, Hilton Garden Inn, and Homewood Suites by Hilton. He has also worked for Sheraton, Westin, and Las Brisas Hotels.
Throughout his career, Victor has been responsible for providing accurate financial information, implementing financial company policies and procedures, working on re-branding conversions and hotel openings (such as Hilton Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica and Hilton Aruba Casino & Resort), conducting audit reviews, and building strong relationships with managers and owners.
In addition to his professional experience, Victor holds a degree in Tourism with specialization in hotel business and has completed a diploma program for hotel managers at the ITESM campus Santa Fe. He was recognized with the leadership award and forecast accuracy award in 2017 by Hilton Worldwide.
