Mauricio Gruener co-founded GFG Real Estate Asset Management alongside his brother Eduardo Gruener.
Together, they bring decades of experience as Presidents and CEOs of GFG Holdings and its affiliated companies: GFG Securities, GFG Capital, and GFG Real Estate Asset Management.
Prior to founding GFG Capital, Mauricio served as a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”) in the Private Client Services division. He managed assets for high-net-worth individuals during his tenure at CSFB, which began in 2001. Before joining CSFB, Mauricio worked at Lehman Brothers Wealth Management Group and HSBC (formerly Republic National Bank of New York), where he worked on the fixed-income trading desk and later in the Private Clients Group.
Mauricio holds an MBA from Thunderbird Business School with a major in Finance and a degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of California San Diego. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
